LeBron Raymone James Sr. was born on the 30th of December, 1984. He is an American professional basketball player. He is known as King James he is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players ever and is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP Awards, Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He has the second most points in his career and is seventh in career assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times and on the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. He has competed in the ten NBA Finals the third most of all time, with eight games in succession between 2011 and the year 2018. In 2021 James was chosen to join the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player to ever in NBA history to rack up 10,000 points or more in a career as well as assists and rebounds. James played basketball for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national press praised him as an NBA player of the year. He was a top pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year he soon established himself as one of the best league players winning his NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010. James went free agency in 2010, after he failed to earn championships in Cleveland. He made the decision to leave Cleveland to join Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered among the most controversial free agent actions in sports history.
