Rihanna
Robyn Rihanna popularly known as Rihanna in Barbados, is a Barbadian performer and musician who has released popular songs such as Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. As a young, popular singer-songwriter, she's one of the most successful selling artists. Born in Barbados, she grew up to appreciate reggae music and began singing when she was a young child. Disturbed by her chaotic family life and endless arguments with her parents, she absorbed herself in music and before long realized that she wanted to become a professional musician. In high school, she formed a music group, and was asked to sing for Evan Rodgers. The producer was extremely impressed by the talent of this teenager. He suggested that she relocate to New York in order to pursue a full-time career as a singer which she readily accepted. Rihanna became an instant hit when her debut album hit the market. People of all ages were attracted by her songs with a catchy sound which had them on their feet, and this led Rihanna into the movie industry. The young and gifted Rihanna is widely regarded as a teenager-idol, and fashion icon. Rihanna is also putting her fame to good use and is actively involved with several charity causes.
